I just use Partition magic 8 and did re-partition for my window XP PC. Before I did it, my pc had c: e: g: h: i: j: drivers. I merge g: to h:, i: to j:. Fallow the partition magic 8 user guide, I made folder call “from G” and copy all files store in g: drive to that folder. After merge g: and h:, I can see “from G” folder in h:, but when I tried to visit that folder, it show me “can’t open this folder”, and the folder didn’t store any files. From h: properties, I found some space had used, the size just same all files size before store in g:.

I tried to undo the merge g: and h:, but system didn’t allow me do it.

Right now I just want to know how can I re-visit my very important data—can I re-partition h: to g: and h:? or…

You should never use Partition Magic on a system with data that is not 100% backupped. Generally you should not use Partition Magic at all; it destroys critical data too often. You're not the only one to have lost data.

Backup what you can and re-create the filesystem while being in Disk Management screen.
