Useing Scroll Wheel to Rapid Fire

Is it possible to use your scroll wheel to rapid fire? Like...instead of clicking the left mouse button, turning the scroll wheel so that it clicks for every notch that is turned...I don't know if that made any sense .

If it's possible, please educate me 😀

actually, you can use the wheel for firing. I used to do it for a half-life paintball mod. all you need to do is go into the control options for your game of choice, and when you assign your fire key, just move the wheel up or down. most shooters allow for two keys so you can use one as mouse wheel up and the other as mouse wheel down. probably doesn't work for all shooters but it definitely works for half-life and it's mods.
