Question Using 400w PSU in 450w PSU Requirement for GPU

hey guys! I'm in doubt that my NVIDIA GTS250 512MB wont work in my 400w FSP400-60GHC PSU, i don't really do over clocking since it isn't my thing. but i want older titles to be running smoothly on my old desktop, any recommendations? should i replace my PSU with a higher wattage? or keep the old one for a while since i dont have any budget yet

2x2 DDR3 1333mhz
Gigabyte GA-G41MT-S2
Toshiba 5400rpm 320GB HDD
ECS NVIDIA GTS250 512MB

Does the PSU have a 6 pin PCI-e connectors that's needed for the GPU?

If it has the 6 pin to run the card you should be fine. Don't use adapters.

It would be wise to upgrade to a decent PSU , that has all the connections needed to power your setup.
