So Had an older pc with an ssd which was used as the primary with os on it, but now I want to use it as my primary drive on my current pc. Could I just simply put it in or would windows have problems, if that's the case how do I wipe the ssd clean for a fresh install. I do not have the older pc any more so I can't wipe it from there. Thanks in advance.

Just follow the guide above and wipe over the drive during the installation stage.

It's best to perform a clean install as the old windows, when configured with different hardware, will either fail to boot, or deactivate on load. That and a clean install will start you with a clean slate without any junk, residual files, or potential software/driver conflicts.
