Hello,

I'm looking for a 144Hz gaming monitor to pair with my 4K 60Hz monitor.

I already have the other monitor for daily use, editing and to watch movies, so this monitor would be just for high pace fps games, hence I'm just looking for raw performance and speed, still picture quality needs to be decent.

Would you recommend me a VA or TN panel? why?

If you have any good monitor suggestions let me know :) (1080p ~24 in)

Thanks!

AOC C24G1 is a good choice cause it has VA panel which is "better" then TN in viewing angles, it is also curved.
Otherwise other solid choices are also:
ASUS VG248QE
DELL S2419HGF
IIYAMA GB2560HSU-B1

all are 24", FHD, 144Hz and TN panel

I read terrible things about this monitor, it 's a old overpriced monitor that still uses pwm.

I don't know about terrible, still many people buy it to these date and are happy with it. I would kind of agree with overpriced for its specs, yeah.

Does it matter on a small non ultra wide monitor?
not sure, depends on what you like. Some people like that feature, but it's definitely not world-changing...

You can go for AOC C24G1. This is a good option.
