I have a dell g5 se 5505 ryzen 5 4600h rx 5600m. I disabled smart shift and overclocked my gpu to 100 watts and cpu to 45 watts. When I cinebench r15 cpu goes 100% and 45 watts but when I play valorant it doesnt use all of them. just 30~ watts. People get 150 - 180 fps with this specs im getting 70-110. Apex legends I used to get 90 fps but after the overclock and disable i get 160 - 200 fps O.O Help

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Your issue might not be with the CPU or the GPU. Mind sharing the BIOS version you're on at the time of writing? Also, what version(not edition) of Windows 10 are you working with? Might I ask why you needed to overclock the processor and GPU? Did you try the laptop out without any overclocks?

I am on bios dell 1.4.4 and Windows 10 version 21h1 19043.928

Now the overclock is a long story My laptop comes with smart shift which shifts cpu and gpu wattage around in the motherboard for whatever is needed more
So if I do cpu bound stuff more cpu wattage and vice versa
AND ITS TRASH it moved all gpu wattage to cpu so instead of getting 120 - 160 fps i got 90 - 100 in apex but in valorant I got 120 fps with smartshift

So if I disable smart shift i dont know about cpu but gpu runs on 75 watts that is bad it can run and runs 105 watts successfully in apex legends full max
BUT in valorant both are using 30 watts only and doesnt take more and it gives me fps from 70 - 120 other people get 150 average according to the dell community

Dell is Bad~Good In this situation u cant upgrade to 16gb immediately with good perfomance and u also have the 8x2 3200mhz so out of the box output is good lol
