Wait really? A little late, seems Discord has already taken over.

I just wish Steam wouldn't throw such a benny when you use a VPN. I regularly use a VPN for work on my home machine. UPlay, Epic - even GMail and O365 manage to deal with me moving PoP from the UK to USA and back while I'm working, but Steam wants a new authenticator every connect and disconnect and even then Steam chat shows me as offline to friends lots of the time.

I'm guessing it has to do with their new trust factor system for games like Counter-Strike.
