Vcore question

Hi all

1) The vid range for 45nm processors tops out at 1.3625 and max safe (safe being 24/7 to me) vcore is 1.44. Is this correct?

2) if i were to set to for example 1.46vcore in bios and AFTER get vdrop/droop in windows get 1.44 is THIS the 1.44 max ppl refer to? or 1.44 max in BIOS?

PS. I have read all the stuff on Toms as well as Intel's doc on my e5200, it is just this one question I have regarding maximums

Max safe Vcore is 1.375-1.4v for 45nm chips. I've seen people running 45nm on 1.4V for a year and a half before the chip starts to die from the voltage. I tend to think that the true voltage being put into the chip is in the BIOS, not the reading from within Windows. I hope this answers your question .
