It has non-volatile high score memory as well! (Like the excellent
Protector/YASI cart)

Another must have for any Vectrex adept!

Me too (both Thrust and the Alex Herbert games)
A christmas present for my stuck-in-the-cupboard-too-long vectrex.

I think the non-volative RAM for hiscores is a great idea.

(Btw, this is my first post to rgv, so hello! I have been an irregular
lurker for a few years though.)

Hey All,

It's even getting hard now to keep up with all the homebrews coming
out or the Vectex. I will buy Thrust eventually and I'll probably pick
up Tour de France at the same time from Mark Shaker.

Uncle Freddy, your'e probably having some difficulties with I, Cyborg
because your still in the first corridor. The graphics and gameplay,
plus the use of more weapons, evolves as you get into the game. Sooner
or later you'll be fighting off enemies from left, right and centre
quite literally.

Regards,

Daniel.

I got Thrust last night, played quite a few rounds, also gave the
Non-Collectible Protector a few rounds and also "I, Cyborg".

I'm not sure I "get" "I, Cyborg" completely.
Can anyone explain the game play a little more as I read the booklet but
it just seems like you can't kill anything with the "acid spray", or am I
firing wrong? I dunno.

Hi. In the first game area (the Corridors) there is only one enemy type that
you can destroy with your fire. These are the decapitating obstacles that
approach from the center (they must be hit multiple times). The other
obstacles found in this area must be avoided. Keep in mind that you MUST
progress forward in order to clear the phase.

ah ok, I had gotten through 1 round but the decapitating thing hands me my
ass every time. Then I go and play more Protector :D
