Hi maypep_necro,
I can tell you that anything less than a 233MMX is basically useless these days.
I remember when the new Pentium 60 and 66 came out, it was circa 1994. We had 486 DX4-100s and didn't see what all the fuss was about...
The original Pentium almost has value as a collector's item (but not really, LoL). It probably uses 72-pin FP SIMM RAM - very modern for the day. Or maybe the even older stuff (ack!) Nasty, tiny old memory.
But you could run it as an old DOS box or something, or sell it to someone unfortunate... I guess.
Hey I remember we had 386-16MHz and a Pentium66 was not invented yet - so there is still a lot you can do with old PCs if you have the software!
I myself have an extensive library of ancient computer games.
And I have the very first P6 rig, a Pentium Pro 200 (@ 233MHz) to play old stuff on, 3dfx etc.
I restore old computers here.
I've got a beautiful old AMD 586-133MHz ISA rig (AMD's answer to the Pentium), I have the PPro, an AMD K6-III 450MHz system like new, and an Athlon 1000MHz TBird rig (the first to hit a gig!). But all pretty useless these days I s'pose...
Anyway, it will be hard to get that thing going - you will need old hardware knowledge (not to mention the hardware :^) I have numerous ancient soundcards, here & there I think.
Do you have a Win95 CD? LoL... I do! which is probably what's truly humorous, heheh.
But if it doesn't run nobody will buy it, so good luck to you.
Regards
