Well they probably did die out from a meteor since thats what most of the evidence suggests, including that massive crater that i think was in the gulf of mexico or yucatan or something. Anyway onto birds. I have no doubt that birds are decendants of dinosaurs.... just look at some of them , they look like a reptile with feathers. Some people can't see or understand how birds are small and dinos were big, and why they got small. They forget that in the past there were many species of huge birds, like the 10 ft tall terror birds, that humans killed off in our expansions.

Also, dinsoaurs got so big in the first place because they lived on a massive continent, and usually with more living space and food animals get bigger. Now, the land space isn't AS large and animals don't get quite as big.

Africa has some of the largest animals for many reasons. The first major one is because those animals evolved right along side humans and developed a natural fear of people. Now the terror birds of australia had no fear and therefore were easily picked off by early humans. Same deal with mammoths, although i don't think humans were solely responsible for that extinction. Ummm, what else. Oh ya africa is also large and very open and the people arn't "advanced" enough to really push them from their habitat like we do here in north america. Here its pretty sad because we build stuff in a forest or something and next thing you no animals come out again and hey look theirs a deer/cougar/bear in your backyard, oh well its bothering me better shoot it with a real bullet insetad of a trank gun.

PS. good luck on that card. I'm getting a 1900xt, so i can use hrd and AA.

All i mean by advancement is that the people there don't have secure lives. I for instance don't go to sleep at night and worry about a lion or something steeling my baby(if i had a baby, i'm only 17 lol). The people arn't as in command of their environment as we are. I realise not all africa is like that, but many people do die from animals, not just lions and crocadiles, but also elephants, hippos, rhinos, black mambas. On top of that they kill each other and its almost a given that if you live there you have AIDS. Africa is pretty fucked, and personally i think its their own fault. Maybe not only the people, but their leaders, making wars they can't afford, and withholding food. They piss me off.

As a person of African desent (via the Carribean) it pains me to see that Africa is basically the baston of open strife, corruption and mismanagement in the world today.
One could argue then that Africa isn't on the same level of advancement, in more than one way if you think about it.
Countries in the west have advance quite far when it comes to the methods of their corruption, greed and mismanagement. I'm in no wa saying thatg no other countries practice these things, I'm just saying the West is the best aat these.

I agree with you. One thing doesn't make sense to me. Africa is rich in oil, gold, diamants, e.t.c. If a long lasting plan for Western Countries is to exploit these goods (sorry if I misspeled sth) by reducing Africa's inhabitants, with help of their corrupted leaders, it is very inhumanous, i.e. by all my means, genocide over genocides. Why they are not investing in Africa's economy? Killing will stop, people will go to work and have a decent life.

The governments themselves don't need to have control over Africa. If you have mega companies i.e Debeers, Haliburton, BP, Dole (Carribean) etc. which manage (BS more like exploit) the resources and you have a country whose inhabitants are constantly in a state of strife, whereby they cannot unite with each other, take control of their resources and their own destinies while their at it, its as good as actually controling said contry.
You dont waste your troops in colonizing, people back hom get the products they want and everybody is happy.
This might seem a little like a conspiracy theory, but when you look at history, this version of Imperialism works far better than its predecessor ever would.
Edit: If you have corrupt leaders in power they give these companies subsidies, its even better for you because it makes it legal. By the way, the UN is a sham.

Why would the western corporations want Africa to be wealthy? Then that would get rid of cheap labor and the now educated citizens would realize the economic rape that is happening and do something about it.

The US just needs to go in there and rid those countries of their WMDs (that they all have, I swear ) and put up fully functioning, corruption free democracies (what corruption?) in all of the African states in a short period of time; six months, no more (we'll be home in time for Christmas!). Also, it will only take 10,000 troops (our Generals' estimates are way to much, who needs 300,000 troops anyways). It has worked ridiculously well in Iraq (which had nothing to do with oil). There is no more turmoil in Iraq (they are just trying to shoot their guns in the air in joy and keep accidentally killing US troops), all of the US soldiers in Iraq are just there for the big party (lots of fireworks!).

When in doubt just blame it all on Nike, Walmart, Coke, McDonalds, Citibank, and Canada.
