Vga or HDMI

Hi, so far I used only VGA cables on my computer... If I use an HDMI cable on gtx 580 and Asus led full hd monitor, will there be any image quality difference ?

Hdmi has more bandwidth then a vga cable but it depends on what resolution you run.. Are you using vga or dvi? I think anything over 1600 x 1200 you need dvi or hdmi, but dont remember.

At the moment I use VGA since my new computer didn't arrived yet...
I have 21.5" monitor with max resolution of 1920 x 1080

Before I switched to HDMI, I noticed scanlines when the screen was dark @ 1080p.

will this cable "HDMI To HDMI Cable 5m Male" work for me ?
I am talking about GTX 580 with my monitor.

I don't see why not, as long as you have mini HDMI to HDMI adapter you should be set.
