Question VGA to VGA or HDMI to VGA or Displayport to VGA?

I have a workstation laptop with VGA, HDMI and Displayport which I want to connect to a monitor that has a VGA connector. I was wondering which port on the computer to connect it to. Does it even matter? VGA is an analog interface so the digital signal from HDMI and Displayport will probably be transformed...

Yeah active Hdmi to Dsub converter would be more common and id say more available compared to Displayport to Dsub.
