Hello Group, just put my system together tonight, A8V rev2.0 , AMD64 3500+
, 2-Rap WD 74gig using Raid 0 off the promise sata controller. I installed
WIN XP SP2. Should I load the VIA 4 in 1 drivers? I would like to hear some
pros and cons...

Yes, if you want the complete set of chipset features including your agp
slot to work right 🙂 The M$ drivers are generally older than what Via has
on their site and lack performance. They also don't have the latest bug
fixes but the latest Via ones do. I'm running the same board you just
installed.

Hi, but make sure you use the latest version from viahardware. Earlier ones
have caused some issues with the AGP gart driver. You can get them from here
