Not sure I'd agree with u. Scumbags who try to patent a clock cycle (ok equivalent)?? It's like me submitting a patent for the "If" statement in programming and then trying to sue the pants off of everybody writing a program.

Then there is the DDR2/3 crap. We agree to build stuff to make it popular and have a "standard" then I run out and patent it and sue the pants off of u.

Sound about like the worst kinda scumbag in the universe. Justice would not be kind enough for these guys.. punishment is where it's at!!!

Rambus didn't "win" anything. They gave up half the farm, to be able to get royalties from other ram manufacturers. Infineon let them of the hook, which leaves us on the hook for higher prices on ram. For my part, infineon just went on my boycott list, not that I buy thier crap anyhow. Sleep with the devil.

Just for the record.. Crucial=Micron, and Samsung has already settled with Rambus if that is your criterium. As have Hynix and Infineon btw, so you're becoming a bit limitted in your options
