Is it possible that my monitor, Acer KA272 is not compatible? It is several years old.Yes, they should be compatible. Are you connecting your monitor to the newly installed GPU? Have you changed any BIOS settings? Have you connected the 8-pin power cable to the GPU?
No.Is it possible that my monitor, Acer KA272 is not compatible? It is several years old.
No luck. Do you think my Motherboard could be DOANo.
You can start by trying to see if you can use iGPU, to do that - remove the card and connect your monitor to the motherboard. See if you at least get some results from that.
Might as well tell us your complete specs. May have an incompatible CPU in that motherboard. No luck. Do you think my Motherboard could be DOA
Unlikely. No luck. Do you think my Motherboard could be DOA
I’m using an Intel i9, 12th gen , i9-12900KF, LGA 1700. Memory is Kingston Fury Renegade DDR5, 7200 MT/s, 64 GB (4x16GB).Might as well tell us your complete specs. May have an incompatible CPU in that motherboard.
Well if it's KF CPU, then there is no iGPU there, so back to guessing with GPU.I’m using an Intel i9, 12th gen , i9-12900KF, LGA 1700. Memory is Kingston Fury Renegade DDR5, 7200 MT/s, 64 GB (4x16GB).
That RAM maybe giving you issues. Try booting with only 1x DIMM (module) installed.I’m using an Intel i9, 12th gen , i9-12900KF, LGA 1700. Memory is Kingston Fury Renegade DDR5, 7200 MT/s, 64 GB (4x16GB).
Motherboard is ASUS Z790 Gaming WIFI7. I just got off the phone with ASUS support and if I want to use all 4 memory slots, there is only 1 kind of memory which is $600+. I’m going to just use 2 slots and it will cost me $130. I can’t believe there is only one specific memory stick that will work with all 4 slots.motherboard?
usually it pays to give us full system specs !
As long as its ddr5 XMP not expo ram ( expo ram is really AMD only ) then any 4 sticks of ram ( as long as same speeds so buy them as a set of 4 should work) not sure where Asus is coming from here..Motherboard is ASUS Z790 Gaming WIFI7.
