Video Card not getting the fps it used to

I have a msi geforce gtx 760 4gb twin frozer video card. I used to cap out the fps on league of legends and now i barely get 30fps. I know that i should be getting better frame rates as my laptop, which isnt nearly as good gets better fps more around the 60-80fps range.

Probably heat or drivers causing the issue.

Download MSI afterburner and check to see if the card is running to hot and thermal throttling its frequency.

And uninstall and reinstall your nvidia drivers.

I have run it previously and it spikes whenever i open things and also periodically throughout games also i know i have the latest video card drivers.
