When talk about view size, what size is CRT equivalent to 18" flat panel? Thanks.

I would think so too. Most if not all manufacturers would list a "viewable screen size," which is the actual viewable area.

my 21" is slightly less than 20 inches diag. the thing weighs 80 pounds though.
