"Twain Sample Source" from www.twain.org ??

Have you looked into VUESCAN by Hamrick Software??

It looks as if Virtual TWAIN Import driver from http://www.scanworkssoftware.com/twnimporter.html is what you need

If you are trying to scan into a terminal server or citrix you can also use VirtualScan from SMAware. www.scan-monitor.com. The software allows you to scan from a locally attached USB scanner over RDP or ICA directly into a hosted application.
