Vista does not like Office 2000

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if there is a fix for Office 2000 to work in Vista? It loaded but Outlook does like it and I get a low memeory error when I try to switch from the paper clip to something less annoying. 8O

Have you tried running it in compatibility mode?

Hmm I'll ask some of my friends that have Office 2000 and see if they can get it to run on their Vista systems.

I installed Office 2000 on Vista HP and Outlook wasn't working 100%. I got WAB.DLL errors anytime I tried to use the address book (which outlook does anytime you attempt to write and send a message).
I tried manually adding wab.dll and wab32.dll to the system, but no luck.

Other programs, word, excel and power point appeared to work correctly with light usage. I didn't use them much though.
