Vista "No Emmulation"

Hello,
I am tryuing to do a fresh install on a system that was working perfectly fine until I turned it on a couple of weeks ago. I continue to get error message one after another. I found most of my support in Techguys but noe i'm getting the initial message again, "No Emulation". I don't know if this is a problem or not except now after the Vista initial screen, it freezes. I have formatted my drive, removed extra memory, audio card, modem. Its an older computer but is basically in good shape. Could it be a virus?

I would only keep the video card in your system and boot in safe mode f-8 and see if anything is conflicted! Than I would install your Gpu drivers and install components 1 by 1 such as the modem than the sound card! If your computer still hangs try f-8 again and choose good known configuration. If you have like a AMI Check it Diagnostics software I would try running it to see whats going on with your system through the floppy or usb drive!

If you can manage to get into the OS, here is how to check system files in Vista:

If you can't get it to start, then please run a Startup repair:

If you can't get that far, and the startup repair doesn't work, here's how to perform a full system repair:

I guess I should have mentioned I'm using windows vista 32. DO I just replace the 64 with 32? I cannot get into Vista and don't know if it's still accessible since I formatted the drive. I did run "Kill" once to reverse it but that didn't help. I still couldn't get into safe mode. It seems I'm getting a new message everytime I fix the present message. These are some: Driver is mismanaging sys.PTES code 0x80070570; REc Env.exe-Application Error The instruction at 0x753ed6c2 reference memory could not be read. Click ok to terminate the program. Access violation at 0x689020E2 (tried to read from 0x00000004) program terminated. and others.

I really appreciate any help with this problem. Could it be memory or a harddrive problem?
