Hey everyone,

I want to install kali on my VM, everything is fine except the fact that towards the end the installation freezes (cant move cursor inside vm). I dont know what to do, all it says is installed "eatmydata (amd64)" and the intsallation bar won't move.

If this matters:
-I used graphical install
- I have a ryzen 5 3600x
-Rtx 2070
-I enabled SVM in my BIOS

Thx for reading and have a nice day,
larwa

And why, exactly, are you trying to run Kali? Given that you just built your first PC and can't even get the NIC working, you are most definitely NOT in the target user group for Kali. Kali is targeted at network security professionals and is not for general use. You would be better served by Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Mint, or the like.
