Hi guys,

I am having real trouble here, I have installed macosx, or am at least trying too, only to find I am unable to move the mouse from within the vmware workstation window. I have tried everything I can think of but with no avail! Please help

Thanks allot - Tom

Solution
Check the subject line
from win 7 host
I can assure you from experience that he would have no problem, with or without the Tools, running OS X under VMWare Workstation (though it's actually called VMWare Fusion on a Mac) on a real Apple computer.

McHenryB: I think he's using a mac though he said: " I have installed macosx, or am at least trying too, only to find I am unable to move the mouse from within the vmware workstation window." This leads me to believe he's on a Mac.

Try this first: Turn off all mouse features in Windows guest OS, especially "mouse trails", and uninstall any 3rd party mouse software like Logitech Setpoint. These seem to mess up the "ungrab" function in VMWare.
