Just very very proud of my daughter right now! Her school is raising money
for the Tsunami fund to build a house in a village. She is in grade 2, so
they told them to try to raise 2.00 for the fund by doing chores etc around
the house. She came home and was determined to do more than just 2.00. She
went upstairs and drew a bunch of pictures and then she made some bows out
of thick ribbon. She asked me to help her make cookies and rice krispie
squares then she went (with me of course) to our neighbors and family and to
date she has raised over $100.00!! (the bows were for dog collars! very
cute)
I am just very proud and had to share that with everyone. Thanks for
letting me babble :)

Yes, way off topic, but definitely awesome!

I thought the topic was a variation of what-what-what??? Like Kyle's mom on
South Park.

😱)

Thanks, being a mom is tough, but it has its rewards.

I think that's the understatement of the year, on both counts! I find the
responsibility of setting a good example all the time can be quite overwhelming.
You know, like when all I want to do is sit at my computer for hours at a time
when I should be cleaning, helping with homework, etc...
;~)

So did I! "Way Way OT" would have conveyed the off-topic meaning,
whereas what was posted sounded like Kyle's mom. LMAO...

Haha... I know. I kick myself in the butt everytime I say "you know, there
is more to life than TV and Computers, find something else to do" all the
while thinking "ohh, I need to check my email!"
