Hi,
I'm trying to make my PC start with Wake on WAN (the same as WoL, just port forwarded to my PC), but I can't find a way to make it work when I have deep sleep ON in my BIOS.
I want all USB powered external devices to NOT receive power while the computer is shut down (S5 state, not G3), while WoW/WoL is still working.
I'm using Windows 10 Pro and an AsRock motherboard (Ryzen 5 CPU in it).
Any ideas?

You can't port forward wake on lan because when your PC is off it doesn't have an IP address. Wake on LAN uses the MAC address rather than the IP address.
Some routers have a wake on LAN utility built-in. You can remotely login to your router then WOL a device.

I've tried it and it worked, I had to assign a static IP and deliver the Magic Package via a phone application. I did need to change the settings in my router though, but that's all done.
I'm just trying to find a way to keep it working (providing power to the Ethernet port) while cutting the power to all USB ports while the system is shut down.

It will work for a while. Then that IP will age out of your router. Come back in an hour and it won't work.
