want review for 64mb geforce2mx

lol. yup....i was surprised too...so i bought one. its already been shipped. hopefully i'll get it tomorrow..if not, it'll be monday. i'll make my own review then...

What sort of price was it? I don't think it'll do much for you over a 32meg version. Texture compression combined with slow SDR memory will probably make the extra memory pretty useless. You probably won't see any difference in 1024x768x32 and it's not really feasible to do a higher resolution at a decent speed.

The extra memory will be helpful for playing games over 1024x768 if anything.

looking at the bandwidth of the mx, it doesn't seem like it can handle much. if only they decided to put full speed ddr on an mx.
