Hey there

I'm planning to build a gaming computer. I don't really intend to stream.
I've put together this build: https://www.digitec.ch/de/ShopList/Show?shopListId=C3053B254B3C4FC3B6EC921134426456

While my budget is around $1200, is there anything I can optimize without losing performance? Also, I really checked if all the components fit together, but in case you see something that doesn't go well together, please let me know as well :)
Is that $1200 or 1200 Euros?

My only issue is with the PSU. I couldn't find any thorough reviews of the unit. Although the price makes me suspect poor build quality. At any rate with no solid thorough review of the unit. You can't trust the PSU. They are using 12Kuang Jin Enterprise capacitors. Which doesn't bode well.

I would get at least a Corsair CX650M. Preferably get the Corsair TX750M. Both are well made. The TX750M has the best build quality for a reasonable price. It is also more energy efficient.

If you can afford it. Get an NVMe SSD instead. Just not if it will make you sacrifice PSU quality or storage capacity.

Thank you very much for the answer, i will take the Corsair 650M, do you mean this NVMe: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/samsung-860-evo-1000gb-m2-2280-ssd-7197990

Don't go with the Corsair CX650M. The amount of money you are spending on this build makes it not worthwhile. Not to mention the 650M is 93 Euro, Seasonic Core GM (a much better PSU) is 87 Euro. When looking at the Seasonic Focus/Prime GX/GM line which are another good set up from the Core the 750W Focus is 112 Euro and the 650W Prime is 115 Euro. The Focus and Prime are light years better PSUs that the CX for not a lot more money. Corsair RMx 650W is 118 Euro and the 650W TXM is 110 Euro. Note all of these are the prices on digitec.

That SSD is not an NVMe drive. That is a SATA drive in the M.2 form factor. This here is an NVMe drive https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/crucial-p1-1000gb-m2-2280-ssd-10305070?tagIds=76-535

The 860 Evo is an SATA M.2.

The website has an option for Protokoll to show only NVMe. For some reason even the cheap NVMe are much more expensive on that website or in your country. In the US and many other countries the cheap NVMe M.2 SSD cost about the same as SATA SSD.

If you want to stick with Samsung. The cheapest is the PM981. The 970 Evo Plus is better. The WD Black SN750 is a good one. The HP EX950 is probably the best buy. It's near the same level as the 970 Evo Plus for considerably less. It isn't quite as fast but I doubt you'd ever notice a difference.

I had seen the Focus GM there. I couldn't find any teardown review of it. Did you find any reviews like that? While I love my Focus Plus Gold. I never trust a new PSU without a complete review. Just because the manufacturers sometimes cheap out a new revision. Like Corsair did with the (2019) RMx and EVGA with the G5.

I haven't seen reviews of the Focus GM, but it sounds like it is just updated to fix the Focus Plus issues and be newer ATX compliant. The components all appear the same. Unlike the Core vs Focus line.
