[SOLVED] want to update system bios

I have a Dell XPS 14 L421x and I tried to update bios through dos operating system by /forceit command because of my battery

when I typed ___.exe /forceit my bios couldn't update its showed test

can I know what it means?

Updating the BIOS is always a risk. A power outage is very dangerous.
If the laptop already has a battery (it does not work at all or does not gain more than 20% of the charge), then you will not be able to flash the BIOS.
