Hi, I spilled good amount of water on my HyperX Alloy FPS Mechanical Keyboard. Immediately, I unplugged keyboard, tried to dry it with hair dryer, exposed it to sun for 5-6 days. When I plug the keyboard to computer some specific keys similar to ghost touching start to hit randomly. You can see a video of the key strokes in the following short video when I plug in the keyboard to computer.

It is a nice keyboard, I really like it, is it beyond fix/repair? I am not sure what to do now!

Thanks.

Can you strip it apart and see if there is any corrosion inside? Also, when you dried it did you fully take it apart? There may still be water inside.

No, I did not disassemble it. Just flipped it down and put it directly under the sun for couple of days. I am not sure if I can take it apart and open it, do you have any other method?

Regularly is this permanent issue or temporary?

You should be able to take it apart, if you know your specific model you should be able to find a teardown video. You likely still have water inside of it, and thats whats causing the ghosting.
