WC setup help.

I am not new to computers by any means but I am new to water cooling. I could use some help in this setup. Here are my specs.

corsair 800d case
asus rampage 3 extreme
core i7 950- eventually a 980x
3 4gb patriot ddr3 1600
2 xfx 6970's will be 3 eventually
2tb wd black, 1tb black
corsair 1200 watt psu
lite on blue ray burner

I am looking on frozencpu to configure parts for the system. I am wondering if I can get away with one closed loop going through one 360 rad and one 140 rad. I think I will go with 3/8 id tubing and not sure about the rads. Looking at black ice. I also dont know aobut the res. Should i go with a bay res or a cylinder? Here is what I have so far.

You'd do much better at a few forums with lots more watercooling dicussions. It's in the stickies up top. Please read, join at least OC Forums and read lots. I'm one of the main active WC folks there. But please read a lot before you start tossing questions. It will be better for both of us. Great start, take a read.

OP-

What pump are you going to run? Depending on that, you might be able to set yourself up with a pump/res top/combo.

Also, the BIX rads you have listed are typically high FPI rads...you'll need some high CFM fans on them. You could go with XSPC rads http://www.frozencpu.com/products/8...X360_Triple_120mm_Radiator.html?tl=g30c95s161 with some low/med speed fans if that matters to you.

@ OP your case is good for quad + dual RAD (all internal) without much of moding which should be sufficient for 950 +2 xfx 6970's (around 570W heat load @ stock )
Now with 32nm (980x)+3X6970 (all stock-around 900W) you may not like your temps and scrambling for more RAD's
