WD Blacks making weird noises?

I just installed two 4tb WD blacks into my computer.. both are working fine ( atleast they show up).. But every 2-3 seconds in the hard drive bay where they are. there is the weirdest noise. It sounds like your car hitting a tiny bump when your driving.. theres the "up and down" of the bump then it waits 2-3 seconds and does that again.. Whats wrong? is it the drive or the case fans or???

When i transfer Something to my one drive it makes a crackling noise.. When its done transferring it goes back to the speed bump noise.. Any ideas?

Just disabled the one black.. figured out which one it was. Must have been some factory defect.. think im gonna RMA it. Any reasons not to?

I would advise you to start with just backing up the data that is stored on the drive. After that you can just contact WD's Support either my e-mail or phone and eventually RMA the drive: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=kXSTjm
It will not hurt to test the drive with WD's Data Lifeguard Diagnostic tool as well: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=g15eZU
