Wdwx XP Going round n' round

The Wdws Update says the "Security Update for SQL Server 2000 Svs Pack 4 (KB948110)" and "Security Update for SQL Server 2005 Svs Pack 2 (KB948109)" are ready and waiting to be upgraded. So install them and restart the computer and then it says the same thing, that the updates are ready and waiting to be installed, so I go thru the same thing over and over again. Not even sure any of my programs need these upgrades. I have the Wdws XP Pro version. Any one know what to do? Jim

Have you recently done a Repair reinstall of the OP/SYS?

No, I have not. I'd like to do a complete HDD format and reinstall of Wdws and all apps, but that would take loads of time.

Would a Wdws repair install be a good option and also fix this circular upgrade issue. Thanks
