Web Sever Build Help. Mobo and Cpu selection?

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Sever needs to be fast and reliable. I need help picking out the motherboard and cpu that would best for a web server. Though not a lot of people will be on this website, I cant allow for downtime, unless scheduled. no downtime is most important factor, next to speed. Raid 1 will be optional. Am i better off purchasing a small sever from dell? or build my own?

just a few more question. do i really need a quad core. it isnt exactly a website im running. but a Event Management System program. i want 5 computer to be connected to the sever for the EMS program. the program runs the website... if that make sense (not that good with computer).

how long will this build last?
is the sd just for the OS? im planning to get windows 2008 sever R2.

Doesn't look like you need a quad core. Go with a pentium dual core and get an additional hard drive instead. Also a cheaper PSU and any old casing will do since your not doing any gaming.

no you dont want a cheaper psu. it is a critical, failure-prone piece! if you have the budget get a corsair psu.
