[SOLVED] Weird noise coming from psu

Solution
Pc specs
Asrock b450 gaming k4 mobo
Ryzen 7 3700x
Gigabyte 2080 super windforce oc
Corsair LPX ddr4 3200MHz 4x8gb
Corsair h60 aio
Welp. Looks like you've cheaped out on the PSU. With that setup I would recommend a much higher end PSU. Because that PSU is something you should use with a 1660 ti or 2060 not a 2080 Super and 3700X. If you can return it, do that and get a better PSU - something like a Corsair Rm650x. Your PSU won't explode or anything, it's just the noise that will probably become an annoyance. I have a 3600+ 2070S. Had a CX650M Heard this same noise, piercing through even my headphones. Returned psu. Bought RM650. Can't even hear it

Ok. I should be able to return it. I'll try to get something 80 plus gold

I have the exact same problem and i switched 3 different psu's the last one is antec 650w gold earthwatts i don't know what to do anymore... and the store i bought the computer from told me they dont hear anything......

Its tier a man....
Oh, my bad! I thought the Pro and regular earthwatts were different lol. Either way it just means the components are cheaper. It doesn't necessarily mean it's gonna cause any problems really. My friend has the guts to run a 3600+2060 Super off an Antec VP550P. God bless his confidence

Either way, I did get no coil whine with RM650 vs CX650M where the coil whine was super loud, louder than the fans in the case and gpu.
