Question Weird voltage spikes on SoC and Misc on Ryzen 9 7900

Hello everyone,
i recently got myself an Ryzen 9 7900. I did a bit of research and tweaked the bios settings to my needs. I can run my Ryzen with Curve Optimizer at an offset on all cores of -31 totally fine. To verify it also runs fine on a daily basis i keep HWInfo64 running in the background. That's where i noticed some weird voltage spikes shown on this screenshot:

The spikes marked above also occur with all bios settings set to default, which means no Curve Optimizer, etc. I'm using an ASRock X670E PG Lightning with bios version 1.28, XMP/EXPO is not enabled.

Is this just a bug, is HWInfo64 reading some sensor values wrong? Or does this just happen without any need to worry.
Thanks in advance :)

Welcome to the forums,newcomer!

Clear the CMOS on your motherboard and then see if the same numbers show up. I'd also try and use another app like HWMonitor and see if the numbers are reflected similarly, not to mention if you're seeing the same in BIOS.

I would also try and reflash the BIOS to the latest version, then clear the CMOS and then see if the same is seen.

HWInfo is well known for giving spurious peak readings. Treat these big numbers with suspicion.

HWInfo claims my 7950X cores are boosting up to around 6,500MHz which is highly unlikely because I'm not using LN2 cooling.
