Hire that guy.

[citation][nom]city_zen[/nom]Any chance that you'll be expanding Tom's to other languages? What about catering to the THIRD most used language on the 'net? (I mean Spanish, my native tongue)I'd love to be an editor/journalist/whatever in a Spanish edition of Tom's. Sadly my English skills aren't up to par to do so in this US edition.[/citation]

Well, that would be nice. Since that 's also my native language. OTOH, we all also have ONE native tongue :) ( A lo que me refiero es que usar tongue seria una traduccion literal ...ya que entiendo lo que quieres decir - tu lengua natal, nativa o primeria. en todo caso en seria solo tu lenguaje nativo o native language) Well, I think that's how it is expressed. Who knows I might be wrong . :)

Cheers !!

seeing that most of my knowledge actually comes from Tomshardware, I see very little possibility of adding anything useful to the site!
I do have some other sources to get my news and info from, but that'd just be copying someone else's work!

[citation][nom]randomizer[/nom]It's more than that, but that's certainly part of the job.[/citation]The job description in the link -
http://www.bestofmedia.com/emploi-9-job-community-manager.html - doesn't suggest much more than management of the community.

If there exists much more to the position than the job description provides, it, along with the qualifications, need to be updated to more appropriately reflect the needs of the position.

And I'd need to resubmit my email to match the additional qualifications.

Well you said it was just managing the forum. That's a large part of the job, but contests and competitions, Facebook, doing... something with Digg, etc is more than just stuff on the forum. It doesn't appear to be a complex position, as long as you're good with dealing with people in the online community... and often annoying people I might add :)

That made be LOL. I am exactly the same way. I'd love to be able to just manage my server farm and client PC's all day. It's when I have to deal with the users that my day goes to %hit. :)

Get rid of those annoying pop up v2 adds!

Seriously, they weren't cool a couple of years ago when you had to close twenty windows for each site you visited and they aren't cool now even though they don't open a new window.
