u all know what flash memory is ... why dont computer manufaturers build flash memory for computers that hold the operating system? why dont they make them large enough to fit all your data? they like 2 give us a taste of whats new then hold back for a while in production to raise the price...it's all about dollar$

There are companies doing this-they are called internet applainces an use simpiflified OS's like CE and BeOS

I think another reason would be because Hard Drives are getting really cheap and you can't get storage capacity in Flash memory like you can get on hard drives!

a technology like that is in the works and drives like that already exist. However we are talking $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. You wanna pay 10,000 for a 2 gig drive?
