Question What adapter can I use to access an SSD drive?

I have a solid state drive that came out of a desktop computer that doesn't boot any more. Is there an adapter that I can use to connect to it with the other end of the adapter being a USB male plug that isn't so expensive?

there are many types of SATA docking stations, adapters, etc.
just search an online retailer like Newegg.com or even Amazon.

Now favoring Orinco drive enclosures that accept a SATA SDD and provide a USB connection.

The only external SATA enclosure that failed on me was an Orinco...😉
3.5" HDD, but still.

What is the specific model number on the drive.
Unreadable in your pic of it.

That is a m.2 format device.
The 2.5" sata adapters are not going to work.
You need something like this:

How about we wait until we find out the exact drive, before giving recommendations of an adapter.
For instance...is it M.2 SATA or M.2 NVMe?

This doesn't have a usual SATA connection with it.

It says on it: Western Digital SN520 NVMe SSD
512 GB
