What are some good photo printing printers?

Hi everyone,

I am currently looking for a good printer that is recommended for printing photos. I am not looking for an all in one printer because my family already has one of those. This is for a gift for someone in my family who is into photography. Do you have any suggestions? I do not want to spend too much, and I refuse to purchase HP or Kodak since I have had many problems with them in the past.

Epson or Canon would be the only choices for quality photo printing. Get something that uses 6 ink cartridges for better quality. any inkjet is reasonably expensive to keep running due to cost of ink and quality photo paper. If you use cheap non-genuine inks and you will get poor print quality, blocked nozzles and fading prints.
