[SOLVED] What are these cables for?

Solution
They don't neccessarily have to be plugged in.

The small one on top right is a connector for a floppy disk drive, I believe. Most people don't have that any more.

The two in the middle are Molex connectors. They used to be standard for powering harddrives and sometimes can be used for case fans or add-in cards.

The one on the bottom is a SATA connector. They have in many ways replaced the Molex connectors, and are used for powering disk drives and fan hubs, among other things.

If all your drives are plugged in, and all components are connected to the PSU and recieving power, the cables in the picture don't have to be connected, they're extra cables in case you want to add a harddrive or something else that requires extra power later...

EDIT :

What happens when you try to power on your new build?

Does it not react at all to pressing the power button, or does it turn on briefly and then shut off?

If nothing at all happens, you could double check that the front panel connectors are connected the right way.

Also double check all connectors from the PSU are securely connected.

A description of what happens when you try to power on would be helpful, and also a complete list of your system specs, including exact make and model of your power supply
