RX580
I5 9400F
ASROCK PG4 B365M
240GB SSD
1TB HDD
16GB RAM
3rgb fans
1 simple fan
and 2 led strips

These are some options. You just need a minimum of 500W power limit and I would recommend it at least be bronze certified.

Evga 600 watt for 40$. I have used about 90 of these with systems that have about 300watts of power tested from the wall and they do well.

None of those above are very good units. This is the minimum, you should get. A quality PSU is a must.

I would agree, those are all low quality units, even if they might work.

The CX550M is worth it, especially for $50 after rebate if you wish to do that

The words 'budget' and PSU' shouldn't be used together. Any power supply that is 'cheap' isn't one you want to base a system on.

I would disagree that you NEVER should buy a budget PSU. There is certainly a time and a place for that.

I am building a system with a 3200g and igpu. It might draw 100w tops, so a budget PSU makes sense.

However, a system with a gpu of this tier is not the type of system that should be using a budget PSU.

As others have said in this thread, the Corsair CX 550 is likely the least expensive PSU worth considering for this GPU.

if your going to spend 70$+ on a PSU I would buy a used t7*** Dell 1000-1200w Platinum on ebay. Ive gotten a deal on some for 55$ before but they are usually around 70$ shipped. They are ATX form factor.
