What component adds usb c

So basicly I am building a gaming PC it will probaly have a gtx 1060 but what I was wandering is how do I get usb-c as it is very important I have one in it I have an adaptor from usb-a to usb-c but I would prefer not to use it because I would like the benifits of
a usb-c port

The motherboard would have the USB C port on it. There may be add-on cards for it also.
