Hi, i tried overclocking my pc by incrasing the FSB value from 200 to 235 and increasing the voltage slightly in the BIOS, this lead to an increase in my cpu frequency for 3.4GHz to 4.0GHz. I said it was ok and it said it was going to restart with the new settings. Then it would restart so i tried resetting the CMOS on the motherboard and this worked, now my pc is working again but i have lost some of my notification area icons and the respective program that they were wont open. Are there any settings that i need to change after resetting the CMOS to get everything working the way it did before?

Regards

Changes in the Bios have no effect on programs loaded in Windows. If you are missing icons, that means you did something else like restoring the registry from an earlier point. You will need to reinstall the programs.
