Question What do the codes on memory sticks mean

The computer has a 2 2GB sticks with 'pc2 6400u 666 13 e1' on it. To get extra stick pair (i.e. 2*1GB) which of these codes are important (and what do they all mean). I tried googling.

Will 1GB sticks with the following work.

PC2-6400U-666-12-ZZ
PC2 -6400U 666-12-E3
PC2-6400U-666-12-D0
PC2-6400U-666-13-D1

Or is it anything starting PC2-6400U-666 is OK?

For one thing you should never mix and match ram and always buy it as a kit so it’s guaranteed to work together. If I were you I would go to Crucial website and look up your compatible ram then buy a kit the size that you want and scrap the old Ram

I have 2 empty slots so I am getting a additional pair, why would I want to ditch the 4GB I have, that's rather silly. The slots are colour coded so you can mix sticks as long as you put the matching sticks in the same channel. Although this is a specific question its the general answer of what the various bits of code mean. Ime just thinking of using the memory a bit as ime selling the box. Ideally for me I can pick up a cople of cheap used 1GB sticks so I go from 4GB to 6GB.
