2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT1

240,000 miles... (still can't believe it, seems like just yesterday she was a baby.)
I do a lot of driving, and I've had minimal problems with this car.

It astounds me that everything still works perfectly. She's never broken down and I've never had any unexpected repairs.

Found a good mechanic who dropped a new front and rear suspension in her for $450. Couldn't beat it. She's riding smooth as ever now.

Not bad for a car I picked up when I was sixteen for $7,000 with 60,000 miles on it. :) Wasn't ever expecting it to run THIS long, but I did take damn good care of her (most of the time ;) ).

Next one's probably going to have to be a G6 since I had such good luck with this one. Maybe a Fusion or Avenger... would like to look at Accords too, but the old man's a retired autoworker, so I need to have some respect. :)

I had a '99 Grand Am GT and it was trouble free until a semi ran over it at my shop. I had just put some 19" wheels on it too. The trucker paid me for the car and he was good about it. Nobody saw him do it and he could have just left but he came in and explained what happened. That's why I agreed not to go through insurance.

^^^ +1 I loved my S Series Blazer, and would've got another one, but the Trailblazer had swayed to far from 4X4 to family SUV.

I drive a '99 Lincoln Town Car. It's definitely a boat, but the V8 helps make the driving experience more exhilarating.
I put about $1.4k into it last summer to get it running after the A/C compressor locked up my engine. It'll be going in soon to be looked at again. I haven't done any mods to it, but I would if I had more money.

Bought it at 78k miles for $5k last summer. It works great for moving my stuff in and out of my dorm with the 5-body trunk. Driving 6 people around is fun too.

Well, I do not own a particular Car, but I've driven 2 quite often, their problems are probably why I'm the only one who even looks at them.

1. 1994 Jeep Wagonner Limited(cherokee Chassis) S6 4x4 primer hood, oxidized baby blue metalic, dark ten leather. Bad alternator/battery, dead battery after sitting for 1 hour.

2.1985 Buick Riviera V8 Fwd chipped Sand Tan w/ Brown feltlike stuff. Bad fuel pump/vacuum , dies at idle. Full of at least 500bls of uncle's stuff(in the millitary)

A long time ago: 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited: bad 4wd/parking break. Baby Blue matalic/ blazing hot dark grey leather.

2000 Chevy Blazer LS 4.3 with 99,000miles, and its a gas hog. I get 12MPG in city and 16MPG on highway. I think I am about to sell it and buy something newer and easier on gas if there is such a American model SUV.

Have a 2008 Mazda6i with 45k on the clock
1997 Ford Probe GT with 140k on the clock(toy)

I initially wanted a new Mazdaspeed3 but the babyseat wouldn't fit in the back without making the front passenger kiss the dashboard. So, instead I got the 6. I simply love it. Rides good, good mileage, handles well and still good looking for a family car.

Great thread
Currently a 2006 PT Cruiser paid off with new tires and battery 65000 miles.
I'd like to get a Ford Focus 2011 wagon but they are only available in Europe.
Sport wagons work for me with my job now.
BTW, I drove a Nisson 280zx turbo in the early 90s and that was a rush.
I also had a 1985 Ranger. : )
Thanks for the thread.
