Solution
No SSD?
Personally, I would wait another month. At the end of September Intel and Nvidia will be releasing their new lines, which means the prices will be dropping significantly on all the current products. DDR4 will also be coming out which means the prices on DDR3 will likely drop as well since it will officially become outdated. Last but not least ... Windows 9 release candidate will be out, which means you can download the latest OS FOR FREE and use it until the next year and then upgrade to the final version of Windows 9 upon release. Once again ... I would wait.
Looks good, though I'd buy a better PSU, something like 650 or 700 watts. Especially with gaming GPU's, you need it. And even if you don't need it now you'll be happy that you bought it when you want to upgrade your GPU in 2 years.

Oh yeah ... always get more PSU than you need. 5 years ago, I bought a Corsair 850 watt psu and thought, "I will never need that much power." I now have an 8350 oc to 4.6 ghz, a 7970, a Quadro 5800, 32gb of 1866 ram, 6 hdds & 3x blu ray burners. I still have a little room to grow.

Wow, this is surprising. I guess I will find a different brand to go for. This article is from nov 2013 though. Do you think Corsair could have made any improvements by now?

possibly but i dont think they do that. all i know is i probably wouldnt risk it.

Hm I guess you never buy something new? Your advice to wait is somehow true for the video cards, but what you generally see is that price drops occur even one or two months later. So that will be around november. DDR3 is already rather cheap and DDR4 will just start expensive, no pricedrops there for about a year I guess. And last but not least why wait and use a beta operating system? The release candidate is still about 6 months away from us I guess and besides that running a beta ór release candidate depends totally on the user and if you want a stable & userfriendly OS then I'd definately recommend to NOT use that. Just remember all the driver problems with windows 8 even when it was final for months...

My whole point is no matter how long you wait, there always will be something better just around the corner in PC land, that will never change.
