I have a MS-7641 VER:3.0 motherboard and i want to get a new graphics card but i don't know what type will fit and what is the best? I once bought a graphics card but it was way too big and wont fit, now i dont know what to buy that will fit and work.

Solution

oh gosh i had the p34 version....
yes a new gpu will work but the fastest cpu for that motherboard would be a fx 8300

gtx 960 for sure you can(EDIT CANT OVERCLOCK) overclock on that board so a 970 390 480 or 1070 is kind of a waste

How am i going to fit the GTX 1070 into my computer's PCI, when it's not flipped back wards? Because my PCI is flipped the other way so i dont think it will fit.

Photos?

your pci express is normal on that board, you can essentially use any gpu you like.
the limits are just your case model & psu model which you havent given us any information on.

as said really going past a gtx 960 or r9 380 would be pointless with a 6300 at stock speeds.

960 is the best at stock or a 970 can be good if you will overclock to 4.1ghz turbo

My PCI looks like the last one in this website that i found, i dont know but it's just called PCI. i not sure how to find how big my computer case is and psu model. if you can help my find it that would be great, then i can give you more info.

photos could help
i think thats your best bet i may be able to tell the size

This is what my computer looks like: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4959021&Sku=C477-G1403

I manage to find the computer but it is not longer available for purchase, but i hope this helps you guys out on why my computer looks like, BTW my current graphics card is GT 720 not the 610 you see in the picture.

get a 970 thats the best for your system a 1070 is not going to be much faster with that cpu
also what is your psu?

Solution

How do i find my psu? and i can find a 970 but shich one will fit into my computer? can i get a link for a grphics card that can?

look on the side of the psu in the case

Ok, so i found it and my PSU is : Turbolink Switching Power Supply Model: ATX-XG500W 12V
Not sure, but i hope this helps.

dont risk a good gpu with that that is not a good psu
get a tier 1 or 2 ps on this list

Ok sure, so which PSU would you recommend? for around $200-$300? And im still worry about the size of the graphics card, if it will fit the small PCI slot part is flipped around so if i try to put a card in the output stuff will be flipped inside not out side. i have only one PCI slot and the one above it i think is a video card that connects to my monitor screen.
