Okay, so I recently bought what I believed was a 2.0 HDMI cable from a company. After emailing them a few times, I found out that the HDMI cable was apparently listed wrong on their website, and they told me, they had sent me a 1.4b instead. I have gotten my money back but I am now wondering:
Did they actually send me a 2.0 or a 1.4b? In the Nvidia control panel, I can set my resolution to 4k @ 60 hz, which should not be possible for a 1.4b cable. I see a noticeable difference in the hz rate when I change between 30 and 60 Hz. Is it possible that it displays in 1920x1080 at 60 Hz, while it lists it as 4k in the Nvidia control panel? If so, are there any other way to check what version it is?
Thx in advance
