What is EZ flash 2

I am confusd with EZ flash 2,is that USB flash same?

EZ Flash 2 is a built-in App to allow the BIOS to be upgraded and USB Flash Drive is the storage for the BIOS ROM file to be stored/accessed from with BIOS EZ Flash 2. The USB Flash drive must be formatted in FAT-32.

One thing - VERIFY NO memory problems before flashing your bios.
If you have an operating system installed, download and run prime95 for several hours - blend mode (default setting).

If operating system is not installed, download iso for Memtest86 (or UBD which has memtest on it plus other utilities) put on CD and boot to CD and run for min of 4 hours.

As a footnote: {most users} unless you're having a 'problem' that's not Windows related then don't Flash your BIOS. Flashing a BIOS can take a perfectly running system and 'create' a problem, and worst if you mess-up you can 'brick' {ruin} your MOBO. BIOS recovery is extremely difficult.

In short, if you have no problems then my best advice is NOT to flash.

Examples 'when to flash':
1. CPU requires newer BIOS version
2. Non-OS Instability
3. Peripherals e.g. 2TB HDD requires new BIOS.
4. Memory compatibility ; where current RAM is causing errors or stability.
