My old cumpeter has 16G DDR3. I am needing a new PC now. I have been told that the latest Tech uses NVME and the board has a slot for thgis. Does thge NVME replace the DDR memory. I was looking at getting rid of the HDDs as I have had problems with them. I was told that windows could be installed on this NVME. Does that mean that I keep the DDR memory which will probably be DDR4 or 5 now?
My idea was to have the NVME with windows 11
16G DDR memory
3 500G SSDs in the cage. seprating the softwre from my documents in a seprerate SSD which could be backed up. The way I see it the MVME would be to support windows only.
Any help on how these things work would be very helpful.
